Chris and Maree are back from Thailand

Hey subscribers,

We managed to complete the first part of our grand tour as planned, and managed to have a fair bit of fun on the way.

We got as far as Bangkok before having to rush home for Maree’s dad, John, who is poorly. We’re now cooling our heels in Mildura, where John is in hospital.

Adjusting to the pace of travel helped me get into the rhythm of updating takeiteasybiketouring.org. While sitting in a Thai sleeper cabin, I managed to add an entry about a bike touring weekend we had last year to Queenscliff. And in the quiet of Mildura, I’ve managed to document our trip from Melbourne to Bangkok.

I’ll keep adding some restrospective entries on and off. And when we finally head off again, I’ll try harder to make the site a reasonably up-to-date record of our travels. We’ll let you know when that happens.
